Influenza is a communicable disease meaning it is a disease that can be spread by a simple cough, sneeze, saliva, etc. It also means it spreads easily but it can be self-prevented treated and self-diagnosable.The flu attacks the lungs, nose, and throat. The people who have a higher risk of getting it are younger children, elderly, pregnant women, and people with chronic disease or with a weak immune system.
